Longevity-Class

Ages 55+.  The focus of this class is Mobility and strengthening muscles while working on your heart and lung health.  Lots of laughs and hard work in this 1-hour class.   $50/month unless you are approved with SilverSneakers or United Health.

Is CrossFit suitable for beginners, or do I need to be in good shape to start?

CrossFit is designed for individuals at any level of fitness. Our programs are scalable to meet you where you are in your fitness journey. Whether you’re a beginner or have been active for years, our coaches will tailor workouts to challenge you at your level. We prioritize teaching proper form and technique to ensure safety and effectiveness. So, no matter your current fitness level, you’re welcome to start your Corvallis Athletics CrossFit journey with us.

I got bored of routine workouts in the gym.  I first walked into a CrossFit “box” and fell in love with the camaraderie of the those around me.  I felt like I was in the military again surrounded by people of different “walks of life” all trying to achieve similar goals.  In this case it was improving their health and fitness.  

I smile at the end of the day when I hear that someone has a new goal or has achieved their old goal.  It’s awesome watching people work hard and helping them know they are stronger, not just physically but mentally.
